We are offering a 20 hour Barre Teacher Training, Module 1 Continuing Education Course

Dates (must attend all sessions):

  • Saturday, June 8 from 11 am – 6 pm

  • Sunday, June 9 from 11:30 am – 6:30 pm

$499.00 includes:

  • introductory 20 hour course

  • Everbalance Barre Instructor Manual

  • one (1) month Unlimited Barre Classes at our Sunbeam Studio

  • apprenticeship and opportunity to teach community classes at Everbalance

What Will I Learn?

  • History and origination of barre

  • The anatomy within each exercise movement

  • 6 Principles of Pilates and 5 Principles of Barre

  • Basic ballet principles and movements

  • Everbalance barre class structure, safe class practices

  • Barre terminology, choreography, technique and teaching on the 8-count

  • How to incorporate props, basic verbal cuing and physical adjustments

  • Modifications for multi-level classes

  • How to design a successful musical playlist (verbal discussion)

  • Lecture, discussion, and experience of all Everbalance barre class exercises
